Stanton, a Federal Judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, appointed Irving Picard as Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Mr. Picard is a partner at New York office of Baker & Hostetler LLP. He is admitted to the New York and Massachusetts bars; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First, Second, Fourth, Seventh, Ninth and Tenth Circuits; the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York; and, the the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He has an LL. M. from New York University School of Law, a J.D. Boston University School of Law, and a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Finance. Mr. Picard has served as counsel for Chapter 11 creditors’ committees and as counsel to a Chapter 7 trustee. Mr. Picard has been credited in the following pubications:
